Just Keep Going

Long time, no see! There have been some disappointments lately as far as a new art show is concerned. I got a call one day to have an art show but they wanted everything to be outside of the venue on a walkway. They were also going to have the show on a day that the venue wasn’t even open! After finding out this information, I called to let the arrangers know that I would not be participating in such a show that did not display art the proper way, I was told that the dates had been cancelled because they knew that it would not be appropriate to have such a half-assed show (for lack of better wording). Then, I was contacted by a café that had an artist that was failing to communicate. They wanted me to be a last-minute fill in, but there were several things that they were going to need “a month prior to the show” which obviously would not be possible to provide since I only had about two days. All of this would be happening while I was trying to move and I had never been to the café! It just wasn’t going to be a possibility. Stinks, huh? You can’t say that I haven’t been trying though! The show must go on!
